“Our Language, Our Story is the Eastern Ontario Catholic Curriculum Corporation’s character development resource for Catholic teachers in the junior and intermediate divisions. It uses the Theological and Cardinal Virtues as points of reference for student learning and activities.The virtues were brought to the forefront of Catholic education in Ontario as a response to the Ministry of Education’s character development mandate in 2008. The virtues support the dual mandate of Catholic education by meeting the Ministry expectations of character education through the lens of our faith.”
